I don't know when things changed, but we were very disappointed and won't be back. Even Taco Bell seems to have higher standards than this place. If you want to spend your hard earned money on quality and flavor, eat someplace else. If you like mediocre Mexican food, you will probably like this place. On top of that, we only got a $3.00 discount off our check. Why didn't they just send back the sub-par meat and insist on the proper product? I guess they just don't care about their customers any more. He was supposed to get charro beans and he got refried beans instead. Both orders were undercooked but served to him anyway. When he complained to the manager, she admitted that the meat they got from their supplier wasn't up to their usual standards, but they were serving it to customers anyway - on purpose! He ordered his fries crispy. My husband ordered the steak, and it was cold, dry, overdone and not even suitable to feed to the dog. The tamale with my meal was dry and tasteless, and the cheese in the cheese taco and cheese enchilada wasn't melted. The queso was so bland and watery, it was more like a bowl of canned cheese soup with a few diced tomatoes thrown in. We've eaten at Amayas Grill in Red Oak a few times, but this last trip was horrible. So overall, we had a very nice visit, and I'm expecting to go back on my next visit to Red Oak. The waitress was attentive, without interrupting us frequently, and she kept refilling water glasses before anybody was out of water. Established in the year 2015, Amaya Indian Grill & Kitchen in Kamani-Kurla West, Mumbai is a top player in the category Restaurants in the Mumbai. I especially liked that everyone got their own dish of salsa, so double dip to your heart's content! The menu was basically what you would expect to see at a Tex Mex restaurant, perhaps with the exception of quail. This night it had a bit of a kick to it, but the table enjoyed it. According to my brother-in-law, the salsa varies depending on who makes it on any given day. My brother-in-law thought the refried beans might have been burned a little, but I couldn't tell if it was that or the seasoning. Everyone enjoyed their meal and ate as much as they could (in other words, the serving sizes are pretty generous).

We arrived around 8 pm on a Thursday night, and they close at 9. This time we were much later than intended on arriving for dinner, due to taking my mother to the hospital. My sister lives in Red Oak, so we go when we visit her and my mom. takes no responsibility for availability of the Amaya Grill and Bar menu on the website.

This is the third time we've eaten at Amaya's. You may explore the information about the menu and check prices for Amaya Grill and Bar by following the link posted above.
